Do you offer 24/7 emergency AC repair?
Yes. We answer 24/7, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. After-hours calls have a $129 diagnostic fee, waived for maintenance plan members.
Can you fix my AC today?
Most of the time, yes. We offer same-day service, and our trucks carry replacement parts, so most repairs are finished on the first visit.
How will I know when the technician is coming?
You get a 2-hour arrival window when you book, and a text when your technician is on the way.

Cost, Estimates and Financing
Are estimates for a new system free?
Yes. Estimates for new systems and replacements are free, with clear pricing before any work starts.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. Your technician goes over the options and the price, and starts only after you approve.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available through GoodLeap, including 12 months with no interest on approved credit, and through FPL.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Military, first responders, teachers and seniors get 10% off.

Repairs, Systems and Maintenance
Do you work on all brands of air conditioners?
Yes. We service and repair every major brand of central AC, heat pump, mini-split and package unit.
How often should my AC be serviced in Florida?
At least once a year, ideally before summer. Florida systems run most of the year, so a yearly tune-up keeps efficiency up and catches problems early.
What does the maintenance plan include?
A yearly AC inspection and cleaning, a 1-year warranty on repair parts and labor, up to 10% off repairs, priority service and no diagnostic fees, for $189 a year ($99 for each additional system).

What warranty do I get?
Every repair has a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. New systems come with a 1-year labor warranty and a 10-year parts warranty, and an extended labor warranty is available.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Cool Comfort holds Florida license #CAC1821452 and carries $1M general liability and workers’ comp on every employee.
What areas do you serve?
Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor and nearby towns across Tampa Bay, up to about 50 miles from our Westchase shop.
